a fertile ground for renewable and citizen energy communities
Every year for the past ten years, the French participatory housing movement, which was renamed “HABITAT PARTICIPATIF FRANCE” in 2021, has been organising “open days”, where more than 120 projects throughout the country open their doors to give people the opportunity to find out more about these often little-known projects.
This year, in the Var, MALTAE, as a structural stakeholder of the movement, proposes to explore how the grouped housing projects that are starting up are excellent engines for creating shared energy cooperatives.
Here is the example of the “Jardindivers” project, in Montreuil, near Paris, that the associations MALTAE and Promenade urbaine visited last May 2022.
